A limited, application-based mentorship for Pilates instructors who want to apply anatomy, biomechanics, and motor learning with greater clarity using real clients, real constraints, and real teaching decisions.
Apply for a MentorshipWHAT THIS MENTORSHIP IS
The Anatomy of Pilates 1:1 Mentorship is designed to support how you think in the studio, not to deliver more content.
Mentorship exists because research in learning science and expertise development consistently shows that once foundational knowledge is in place, targeted feedback on real performance is what drives meaningful improvement.
The goal is to refine your reasoning process, so decisions become clearer, faster, and more adaptable across different bodies and contexts.
HOW MENTORSHIP FITS INTO ANATOMY OF PILATES
Anatomy of Pilates is intentionally structured as an ecosystem:
Workshops → teach where to apply a concept
The Flagship Pathway → teaches how to think across all situations
1:1 Mentorship → refines how you apply that thinking in practice
Mentorship does not replace structured education. It builds on it.
This ensures sessions focus on application, calibration, and judgment, not re-teaching fundamentals.
Mentorship is best suited for instructors who:
-
Are actively teaching clients
-
Have foundational anatomy knowledge
-
Have completed (or are enrolled in) the Anatomy of Pilates Pathway or equivalent education
-
Want refinement, not memorization
-
Are willing to examine and challenge their own decision-making
Mentorship is most effective for instructors who already have a framework and want to use it more skillfully.
Mentorship may not be the best fit if you are:
-
Looking for a shortcut to expertise
-
Wanting more exercises or choreography
-
New to anatomy and biomechanics
-
Seeking certification or formal credentialing
-
Hoping mentorship will replace foundational coursework
If you’re unsure, the Flagship Pathway is often the best place to start.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO GAIN
While outcomes vary by individual, instructors commonly report:
- Greater confidence navigating complex clients
- Faster, clearer decision-making during sessions
- Reduced reliance on default cues or scripts
- Improved ability to explain choices to clients
- Better integration of anatomy, biomechanics, and motor learning
These outcomes align with research showing that guided feedback and deliberate practice improve transfer, retention, and professional judgment.
